I made this work as I’ve felt shocked by women’s rights being violated globally. I so want to change this. I wish for women to be respected, admired and cherished as we do with flowers.

Happy to join Incontro festival in Celleno

Come and visit this medieval city to explore your own creative energy. We attended a workshop with kids from Celleno who where inspired by flowers like I do. Hope to meet you in this paradise. My works and explorations will be presented in the church in the castlo on top of the 'Borgo"

 Gallery Dom'Arte  from Rucphen is presenting my works at the KunstRAI. I was happy Gerry Broos made a solobooth to show my newest works. Now on show in her gallery in Zundert in a soloshow in her pavilion.

Margriet Smulders vindt het geweldig om in Slot Zeist te exposeren vooral vanwege de vrolijke roze en gouden krullen in de Spiegelzaal. “De levenslust die daar uitspreekt hebben we nu hard nodig. Roze en wit, de kleuren van 'Comfort Me', zijn rococokleuren”, vertelt Margriet. “Evenals goud. Rococo is in mijn ogen een aansporing om van het leven te genieten en te kiezen voor vrolijkheid en vruchtbaarheid”.
